It seems strange to me that I can easily play 4 1080p local videos the same way as with the Decklink inputs and it runs smoothly and with large performance margin.Īlso I made a simple "proof of concept" producing simple 2x2 2160p grid from DeckLink using ffmpeg. This suggests that I might need a stronger GPU. After adding another Decklink input the GPU tops at 100% and the video is not smooth anymore. I have tried running CasparCG in 2160p mode but it seems like the GPU is able to process only two Decklink inputs and the GPU utilization is around 90%. My current setup is Ryzen 3600XT processor with RTX 2060 graphics card and I am running CasparCG 2.3 on Ubuntu 18.04. For input I use a DeckLink Quad HDMI Recorder card and for output a DeckLink Mini Monitor 4K. The main task of the server will be overlaying four 1080p DeckLink sources into single 2160p output. I am trying to make a 4K capable CasparCG server. ![]()
